I couldn’t begin to recommend Jules and Your Story Studios enough! Literally the best videographer that you could choose for your wedding. My partner and I really didn’t want a romantic, soppy wedding video, as it’s really not our personality. We came across some of Jules’ videos and thought that he may be able to capture our personality better than others and by god, we weren’t wrong!

After recently receiving our wedding highlights video, we were both sat with our mouths open at the end, saying how amazing it was. Couldn’t have wished for anything better. We also opted for the wedding documentary style video too, which we can’t wait to sit down and watch together.

Jules, himself on the day was such lovely, friendly, and respectful person, who caught some fantastic candid shots and his video’s absolutely reflect who me and my husband are. We are over the moon. Thank you!

Wow!

I honestly can’t really put into words how amazing Your Story Studios are. We were a covid postponed three times wedding and ended up losing our photographer/videographer the third time round because they were already booked. A massive blessing in disguise as this meant we opted for a different photographer and then stumbled across YSS.

From the second we started chatting we knew we wanted our story told by these two. Watching all the previous films they have made just summed up exactly what we wanted. We didn’t want a generic lovey dovey wedding film as we are both awkward with that kind of stuff 😂

The whole wedding it was like having extended family there, not for a second did either of us feel uncomfortable or like we had cameras shoved in our faces. The day went by, we had the best time ever but then we got sent our film and oh my god. We couldn’t believe it, everything we asked for and way way more.

The skill that these two have is ridiculous, I mean every shot is edited perfectly to the beat of the music. The lyrics in the songs are reflected in what people were doing in the video. I have never felt more overwhelmed with happiness to have this as our memory forever. Friends and family constantly mention it looking like a film trailer.

The absolute best, if you’re having any doubts about having a video I’d just 100% say it is something you will never regret. YSS went above and beyond to capture our day just as we asked and yeah just do it. I can’t say much more 😂❤️

One of the best decisions I made about my wedding was hiring Your Story! I searched high and low for the perfect videographers and I found them. They were a total joy on the day, and our video is perfection – something we’ll treasure forever. Don’t think twice about choosing them for your big day!

Lyndsey and Jules were our photographer and videographer at our wedding in  February , and they were so amazing that we couldn’t imagine the day without them. I cannot express how grateful we are for all of their support at the wedding and for capturing our special day so perfectly- they are such a lovely couple and their work is very, very special.

From our intial contact through to receiving our story and photographs, everything was perfect. They are so flexible and really want to get to know you so that they can really personalise their approach and create a story that truly represents you and your special day. On the day itself, they were amazing at helping make sure that everything ran smoothly, and were such a calming influence. We felt so comfortable with them that we soon forgot that we were being filmed.

Every time we watch our story or look through the photographs we feel the magic of the day all over again. They are beautiful. If we could give Lyndsey and Jules 500 stars we would- we cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you SO much.

Deciding which photographer and videographer to use for our wedding was one the biggest decisions for us. Not only because it was a large part of our budget but also because it was so important to capture the day in the way it was experienced by us.

Meeting with Jules and Lyndsey virtually, we instantly knew they were the guys for us. They were down to earth, personable and so likeable. Meeting Jules for the pre- wedding shoot was great, definitely recommend this if you can stretch to it within your budget because it allows you to get to know them and they can understand you as a couple, which is so key when telling your story.

This is exactly what these guys did! The video they produced took our breath away. Everything from the lyrics in the music they chose, to the sequence of shots, it told our story so perfectly. It was like they were able to read us and brought this to life through their videos and photos.

But this still isn’t the best bit about deciding to use these guys……the best bit is that they were part of our wedding in a way I never thought they would be. It was like having an extra 2 friends at our wedding. They were part of us getting ready, capturing the amazing moment of me walking down the aisle and Sam clapping eyes on me for the first time, when we took our vows and when we danced the night away.

They really are an amazing couple and in themselves, demonstrate a true partnership, which any married couple is obviously striving for.

Jules and Lyns of Your Story Studios were absolutely fantastic. It is hard for us to articulate fully and properly quite how brilliant they were. They delivered everything we wanted, completely as we wanted it.

We used them for our wedding photographs and our videos. We were fortunate enough to see them in action at our friend’s wedding too, where they were brilliant. Professional, non intrusive, calm and totally invested in capturing the day the couple wanted in the way the couple wanted it. We were also fortunate enough to have a chance to go to our venue a few months before for a ‘getting to know you’ meeting and pre wedding shoot with Jules.

On both occasions we were completely put at ease. Sometimes we didn’t even notice they were there (in a good way), but they were definitely working diligently all day as they captured every minute. They were totally relaxed and happy to take the lead or to let us do whatever we wanted. We really appreciated their approach.

We got married on NYE (so it was a long day, with a late finish and the following day was a bank holiday). We couldn’t believe it when a selection of excellent photographs arrived the following day. I appreciate this may not be possible for all weddings but we could not believe how kind they were to send us a few memories to enjoy on our honeymoon.

Their attention to detail and after care was amazing too. They checked in with us after delivering the photos and videos and were really interested in checking we were happy. Which, of course, we were.

We would highly recommend Your Story Studios to anyone. We would happily speak with any person or couples considering using them for any occasion who have any questions at all. They captured our perfect day wonderfully and we now have videos and photos to cherish forever. We are so grateful and simply cannot speak highly enough of our experience with them.

We can’t thank Lyndsey and Jules enough for being the most loveliest photographers ever. They were very efficient, very friendly, and managed to get many amazing photographs of our special day not to mention a video that we will treasure forever. I was originally on the fence about having a videographer when we first started planning our wedding. Seeing myself in videos makes me cringe so I had written off the idea until I saw a film by Your Story Studios online. Contacting Jules and Lyndsey was the best decision we made for our wedding day! Lyndsey was so professional and friendly to work with and put me at ease right away. In fact, I forgot she was there for most of the day as she is an expert at finding discreet spots to film from that don’t feel intrusive at all. Watching our video back for the first time was magical and we’ve watched it over and over again since! I’m so glad Your Story Studios was part of our special day – we would have regretted it immensely if we hadn’t taken the plunge! If you are unsure whether a videographer is right for your wedding, I urge you to speak to Lyndsey and Jules – their films are beautiful memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives!

Amazing talent delivered by someone who truly cares about you and your special day. My advice to everyone getting married is you need a cinematographer to be able to relive your day. This is the man you need for that, fact! “Thank you” doesn’t offer enough appreciation to this creative genius.

After spending 11 years together it finally can to our wedding day, all I really wanted was someone to capture us as we are, we met Julian and Lyndsey and instantly I knew it had to be them, after watching their other films on repeat I knew no one could come close, these are not your average photographers/videographers! They spent time with us, learning what we loved and who we are as people, they kept in contact on the run up to the wedding and then the day came. Your story films picked up and videoed/photographed our wedding at the last minute after being let down. They absolutely saved the day and in honesty I’m so glad the previous people cancelled as this couple is amazing. Jules and Lyndsey are nothing short of incredible! My husband and I are both camera shy and we were made to feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process. From the first moment we met these guys we knew we had struck gold, they’re professional, work their socks off, and what they produce is a perfect story of your day and who you are as a couple. We really couldn’t have asked for more! The effort and detail they put in before the wedding day to make sure they get to know you a little bit, is such a lovely touch. We had an amazing wedding video produced for our special day. Julian and the team provided excellent customer service from the very first briefing meeting right through to the final cuts. He worked tirelessly through the wedding day, including early start to capture sunrise at our venue to late night seeing our first dance – which was incredibly great value for the quote provided compared to some other firms we looked at. The final cut is fantastic and my wife is thrilled with the finished product as he took on our views and executed it superbly. I think the extras package is well worth it so you have the shorter version (5-7 mins) and the speeches and ceremony on their own too. You hardly know Julian is there on the day and we are so thrilled to have the memories to keep forever and watch again with family & friends. I’d recommend getting a wedding video to anyone considering it and I would only recommend these guys do it!

If you are wondering if getting a wedding videographer is worth it! It totally is, even at our small intimate wedding we have an amazing 4 minute highlight video to look back on for years and years all thanks to Your Story Films. I honestly didn’t know they were even there on the day, and some of the footage I don’t even remember happening so it was great to re live the day all over again!! We can’t thank Jules enough for our lovely little video.

Jules and Lindsey were the perfect videographers for our special day. They listened to our requirements which were to be discreet and capture candid, natural footage and that’s exactly what they delivered against a backing track that totally suited our style. As soon as soon as we saw Jules and Lyndsey’s story films we fell in love with their work and when we met them we knew they were the film makers for us. They are such lovely genuine people. We were so looking forward to seeing the film and when we did we were so overwhelmed with just how they got us and exactly what we wanted. In fact we couldn’t have imagined just how beautiful it could be. They have a rare and wonderful skill to be able to listen and produce films that reflect couples perfectly. Our friends and family are bowled over by it. Lyndsey and Jules are so discreet, most of our guests said they didn’t notice them filming and Lindsey was wonderful on the day helping out with bits and bobs which was so hugely appreciated. Jules an Lyndsey are fantastic and I would highly recommend. We were so happy to have them film and photograph our big day. From the moment we first met them (over video) after reviewing their work, we knew we would be in good hands. They were attentive to our needs and really listened to what we wanted from our photos and how we wanted our wedding to feel. They really took time to get to know us and understand what we wanted, they are both so lovely and personable too and were great to have around at the wedding, Lyndsey even helped my mum getting ready! It was an absolute pleasure to share our day with Jules and Lyndsey. It was like having 2 extra friends for the day. They went above and beyond throughout the day, from Lyndsey helping keep a 3 year old occupied during the preparations by letting her help with the camera to Jules helping get the perfect night shots in the wind and rain, they really couldn’t do enough to help make the day perfect.

We initially only booked Your Story as our videographer, but with all the changes we had due to covid we asked them to take our photo’s too, and they were incredible at both. Jules was so kind and down to earth, and as an added bonus took some great shots and created a fantastic film which is absolutely perfect for what we wanted. The turn around was quick, you don’t even notice them walking around at the wedding, but they are there whenever you want/need them.
