How much is it going to cost for me to tell Your Story?

You have probably never planned a wedding before and therefore haven’t hired a photographer or videographer to capture it! All of this is new and you might not know where to start, please let me provide some transparent information to help you plan.

As I offer both photography and videography and there are different styles of final memories I can create, I need a little time to explain what those options are. The video below explains things, but you can also find the information as you scroll down the page.

Photo, Video or Both?

If you like my work and my approach to capturing your wedding, the first thing to ask yourself is do I want to see the day through still images, moving images or both?

Whatever you choose I am happy either work alongside another chosen supplier providing photography/videography, on my own providing both photo and video as a hybrid photographer/videographer or I can bring a team of people with me to cover your day through photo and film.

Coverage of your wedding

I typically provide all day coverage of your wedding to be able to tell a comprehensive story. I have 3 different packages for photography, 3 for videography and 3 for combined photo and video. The main difference between the packages are the memories that you will receive after the wedding – this is a personal preference which I have tried to cater for.

There are also options to add pre-wedding shoots or additional coverage for multi-day weddings or weddings taking place abroad.

If you are planning a smaller wedding I also offer packages for twilight / micro weddings or elopements which are shorter coverage.

How long will it take to receive my story?

My aim is to deliver your memories to you as soon as I possibly can with consideration to the care and attention I put into editing your photos / films. Depending on the time of year this is typically within 8 weeks after the wedding, although my contract allows extra time for unforeseen occurrences.

I typically provide an initial preview of images or a Teaser Trailer film within 48 hours of the wedding to provide that instant opportunity to relive highlights from the day and share the excitement with others on social media.

I believe in straightforward and transparent pricing, so below I have 3 main options to choose from – photo, video or both. The price for each is displayed so that you can compare.

Once you have chosen how you would like me to capture your wedding you can choose from a number of options to enhance the coverage and the final memories that you will receive of your wedding day.

Linked together with montage sections of the footage we capture throughout the entire day editing together with music and some natural audio we capture whilst filming.

This is a more comprehensive, legacy film that will be typically 30 – 90 minutes in length (potentially longer), depending on the length of the ceremony and speeches.

Additional Storyteller

Additional Storyteller (Photographer / Videographer)

An additional photographer / videographer or hybrid shooter (depending on the service we are providing). This enables more of your day to be captured, from more angles to show you even more of the story. This is recommended for larger weddings and for couples who want as much coverage as possible, providing even more photos and or video footage from your day.

This may be important if you would like to capture both people getting ready before the ceremony and you are in different locations. It is also useful when there are multiple venues/locations so that we can provide a less interrupted coverage where the days logistics are challenging.

** The additional storyteller is someone who is chosen by me and works with me on a regular basis who is an experienced professional **

Additional Hours Coverage (per hour)

Additional Hours Coverage

If you are having plans that require longer coverage than the standard 10 hours that are included you can add on additional coverage by the hour based on the number of hours you require.

This could be to cover an earlier start to capture cultural rituals earlier in the day, or if you would like specific elements of the evening celebrations capturing, such as special entertainment, fireworks or a late exit.

To add hours select this option to add to your quote and enter the number of hours as the quantity. Each hour is charged at this value to cover the extra time invested at your wedding as well as the additional time spent editing the files captured.

European Destination Wedding Supplement

Travel & Accommodation outside of the UK (Europe)

If your wedding is taking place outside of mainland UK there will be additional costs associated with capturing your wedding. This is charged at a standard rate of £500 per storyteller and covers flights, transfers and accommodation to be able to attend your wedding.

Depending on the timing of flights etc, it is likely that you will receive extra coverage the day before or after the wedding to capture additional content for your story as part of the price.

Pre-wedding / Engagement Shoot / Story Session

Engagement / Pre-wedding Shoot / Story Session

Do you like the idea of having the opportunity to meet up prior to the wedding day to take some photos or capture some video clips? Maybe a short interview, or some images of you doing something that you love.

This is great for making you feel more comfortable in front of the camera on the wedding day, for us to get to know each other better and for you to have some nice photographs to use for your wedding invitations or a signing board etc.

The price includes travel within 45 minutes of our studio in S75 and up to an hour and a half at a location. We typically suggest meeting at your venue or at a favourite location/somewhere meaningful to you, but we can also suggest locations if you like.

After the shoot we will send you a selection of images from the shoot (typically 50+ images) in an online gallery or/and some clips to add to your wedding story when we create it after the wedding day.

Albums & Printed Products

I use an amazing album manufacturer who happens to be located locally. There products are beautiful, handmade works of art themselves and the business is run in an ethical way which means I align with the perfectly as a business.

Within my packages you will see a number of options for albums and any customisation you require can be discussed to meet your needs. You also have the facility to order prints directly from your online gallery – something you and your guests can do at the click of a button!

How do I book?

Once you take a look at my work and see if I could be the right fit for you, this process to book me as your wedding storyteller:

Head on over to the contact form to check I am available on your planned date.
I will send you over an online quote which covers everything you need to know regarding packages and options.
If you want to chat first you can automatically book a phone/video call with me.
You can confirm your booking straight from the online quote when you are ready.
Check over the terms and conditions so you can feel confident in the service I will provide.
Complete the online booking form so I have your contact information.
Pay the £250 booking retainer / deposit which is deducted from the overall balance.

Then that’s it, I am officially your storyteller!
