Wedding Photography - Real, Relaxed & Natural | Your Story

Wedding Photography

Real, relaxed and natural

The wedding photography that we really treasure and the photos that we fall in love with are the ones that show real moments and emotions. This is why our approach is to capture you and your guests in a relaxed and natural way as your day unfolds. We don’t stage things, we don’t look for perfect, we focus on creating genuine, authentic memories.

Love, fun, family & friends

We believe wedding photography should make you feel an emotion and we want to take you back to those amazing moments. So we integrate discretely into your wedding and document the day as it happens and capture the wedding photographs that we believe really matter – the ones that transport you back to the memory that they capture and bring a smile to your face or tear to your eye.

For most of the day you won’t even realise we are taking photos as we blend in with the wedding party and your guests to capture authentic moments while you have the best day ever.

Once in a lifetime photographs

It is a special day, with your special people, in a special place, so you want to be able to remember those moments together forever – it is amazing to think these images will live on for generations to come!

We take those important, heirloom photos, as quickly as possible, with minimal fuss and only mild direction as required. It won’t feel like a magazine photoshoot and we won’t tell you to say ‘cheese’, but you will probably laugh and hopefully have fun while we gather you with your fave people and then join the two of you for a quick walk around your chosen venue, with you, to get a few special images.

A unique approach to photography

At the end of the day we are pointing a camera and pushing a button, the skill is not in operating the camera. The skill is how we get into the right place, become part of your wedding and avoid the cliches. We take photos as if we were spending the day with our own family and friends.

Words you could use to describe our approach to wedding photography are: candid, reportage, documentary, unobtrusive, modern and creative. The style and aesthetics of our images are formed to convey feeling and emotion, this is why we blend a neutral but colourful palette with high contrast black and white frames.

Reasons that we would be the perfect photographer for you

When choosing a photographer it is really important to make sure you get the person who will capture your day in the way you would like to see it, as well as provide you with a positive experience on the day by being easy to get on with.

Frequently Asked Questions

You may have a few questions, so we have answered a couple below and more more on our FAQ page. But if you have a question we haven’t answered please contact us, we would love to talk you through our process.

Are you a qualified videographer / photographer?

It’s difficult to work out what constitutes being ‘qualified’ in a creative industry, as anyone has the ability to learn how to do something and offer a service.

We would suggest the most important thing to look at is the consistency in the work a videographer/photographer produces, and take some time to learn a bit about them, and if you will connect with their personality and their approach to capturing your day.

We have years of experience capturing weddings, with lots of reviews from happy couples, and I a first class honours degree in Media and Photography.

Can I see some more of your work / full galleries?

Absolutely, we would always encourage you to look through full photo galleries and a variety of films before you choose your wedding storyteller. Once we know a little more about your plans we will send you more of our work which matches the style of venue and the time of year you plan to get married.

How do we arrange a consulation?

After you enquire with us through our contact form, or email/call we will send you some more information and invite you to have a video/phone call consultation. We love to get to know people and give you the opportunity to ask any questions directly. You are welcome to visit us in person if you prefer.

Please can we tell your story?

Contact us to see if we are available to capture your wedding.
