My Approach

I’ve never written a more well deserved review. My wife and I spent almost a year looking at potential videographers for our wedding until we stumbled across Lyndsey and Jules (Your Story Films). From watching their footage and seeing them at work, they are complete masters at what they do and have a genuine passion for it. Their dynamic and cinematic videos are the future of wedding videography and they are a step ahead of anyone else we came across in the industry (we searched high and low!) On our wedding day they absolutely nailed the balance between staying discreet but also capturing the shots and moments that really matter. Straight from initial contact they were professional, attentive and did everything they could to make sure that they captured the day exactly how we wanted it. We were speechless with the videos they put together from our big day. The editing and creativity is incomparable and watching it really brought back the familiar flood of emotions from the day. Lyndsey and Jules are a warm, down to earth, genuinely kind hearted couple and you can trust that will look after you and deliver exactly what you want on your wedding day. Jules an Lyndsey are fantastic and I would highly recommend. We were so happy to have them film and photograph our big day. From the moment we first met them (over video) after reviewing their work, we knew we would be in good hands. They were attentive to our needs and really listened to what we wanted from our photos and how we wanted our wedding to feel. They really took time to get to know us and understand what we wanted, they are both so lovely and personable too and were great to have around at the wedding, Lyndsey even helped my mum getting ready! They stuck with us through the Covid rollercoaster and were so easy to work with, supporting our changing plans. The photos are stunning and we absolutely love our video- such special memories. We can’t thank them enough and would not hesitate to recommend them. The video in particular, with Jules’s incredible editing, is outstanding- don’t miss out by just having photos!

It’s difficult to put into words how perfect our wedding film turned out, but I know it’s something we will cherish forever and show our children ❤ Jules came highly recommended and its easy see why. From the first conversation to the dance floor at the wedding Jules was kind, professional and provided a gentle guiding hand the entire wedding process. Jules listened and saw what was important to David and I, making it all the more personal and unique. You’re probably thinking, I don’t need both photos and a film. But take our advice you do! We will never regret choosing Your Story to capture the day and their amazing craftsmanship made our wedding complete.

Jules and Lindsey were the perfect videographers for our special day. They listened to our requirements which were to be discreet and capture candid, natural footage and that’s exactly what they delivered against a backing track that totally suited our style. Each time we watch the videos it takes us straight back to those special moments and we look forward to watching them on every anniversary in years to come. As soon as soon as we saw Jules and Lyndsey’s story films we fell in love with their work and when we met them we knew they were the film makers for us. They are such lovely genuine people. We were so looking forward to seeing the film and when we did we were so overwhelmed with just how they got us and exactly what we wanted. In fact we couldn’t have imagined just how beautiful it could be. They have a rare and wonderful skill to be able to listen and produce films that reflect couples perfectly. Our friends and family are bowled over by it. Lyndsey and Jules are so discreet, most of our guests said they didn’t notice them filming and Lindsey was wonderful on the day helping out with bits and bobs which was so hugely appreciated. We cannot thank and recommend Your Story films enough and will be forever grateful for the precious memory and story we have in this film.

After spending 11 years together it finally can to our wedding day, all I really wanted was someone to capture us as we are, we met Julian and Lyndsey and instantly I knew it had to be them, after watching their other films on repeat I knew no one could come close, these are not your average photographers/videographers! They spent time with us, learning what we loved and who we are as people, they kept in contact on the run up to the wedding and then the day came. I honestly cannot express enough how truly amazing these people are, their work is flawless and not just that, they are the most amazing people too, it felt like we had known them for years. I can never say thank you enough, you are an exceptional couple and I’m so happy you were there, if you are looking for your wedding photographer, look no further, these are everything you are looking for!!!
