Photo and video provide you with different, but complimentary memories of your wedding day. Historically video was less accessible than photography, requiring a lot more equipment, effort and wasn’t very good quality. These days video is integrated into our lives, so if you are planning on hiring a professional photographer, why would you not want professionally captured video too?
Photographs provide those perfect moments captured in one image that can be enjoyed in that split moment while walking past that frame hanging on your wall at home or a quick post shared on social media. Film’s or Video’s can be enjoyed in different ways from sitting down and watching a detailed movie of your day to shorter clips providing the deeper sensory experience of hearing audio accompanying moving images.

But in summary I have a super relaxed, mainly documentary approach and I like to create something unique and personalised to each couple I work with.

This multi-day wedding took place at the incredible Thicket Priory near York. Kat & Sush wanted to have a celebration that blended their different cultures and life experiences together, bringing together all of their family and friends from across the world. Featuring traditional Nepali rituals outside in the gardens, a Chinese tea ceremony and a personalised humanist wedding service in the old chapel, combined with cultural dances and a bridesmaid turned DJ.

We capture all the important moments at your wedding in the perfect way. Some memories are best as a still image photo, some best as a moving video and some you will want to see as both. You get to enjoy all the moments in different ways.
I capture both photo and video together, less people wielding cameras, but the same level of coverage as hiring 2 different businesses or teams of people. Just one point of contact for photography/videography which gives you one less thing to worry about. The costs of running separate business aren’t as high so you can save money with no compromise on quality.
