Content Creation vs Photography & Videography
There are a number of distinguishable differences between hiring a photographer / videographer to capture your wedding and a content creator. The first being the intention behind the role.
A photographer / videographer is quite an integral role at your wedding, you are trusting them to comprehensively document your day and provide high quality memories that will last a lifetime. A content creator is typically an additional role that is capturing less polished memories similar to what you might capture of your own life day to day, or that guests using a mobile phone my capture at your wedding.
Rather than using larger, professional cameras, lenses and other equipment, a content creator typically used a mobile phone camera or similar. This allows for a less formal and distracting set-up and creates a less complex and faster workflow for processing images and video clips. This means the memories captured can be delivered quicker, typically within a few days of the wedding rather than weeks or even months later.
The memories from a professional filmmaker or photographer will be of a higher quality and will be well worth the wait, but if you want to see memories from your wedding as soon as possible a content creator can make this possible. Content creators typically capture things in a vertical aspect ratio, which means they are social ready and I the perfect format for sharing on instagram etc.
